Our Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed par 71 golf course was built around a 20-acre nature preserve and is one of the few walkable courses in the area. Dick Erick, Golf Professional Emeritus, describes the course as, "This creation of Robert Trent Jones, Jr. is totally unique to Southwest Florida. The playing characteristics of the course incorporate strategy and finesse. One major design feature of the golf course is its versatility. The design of the tee complexes have up to 7 or 8 different tee locations. This helps create not only the variety of yardages but also many different angle changes to the holes. The most consistent comment from our members and guests is they never get tired of playing the course."
“Kensington is very avant-garde for its time. We used local coquina shell sand for sandy waste areas, routed play through a cypress preserve, incorporated both the bunkers and traditional water hazards of Florida, and created highly shaped playing features to present what we hope is an always fascinating golfing challenge. I've long had relatives in the Naples area and Kensington continues to be touchstone when I am fortunate enough to visit the Gulf Coast.”

“We each play golf several times a week and we never tire of playing golf at Kensington. This excellent course offers multiple tee options and is always in top condition. We can either walk the course or take a cart to create as challenging or fun a round as we want. We love this golf course.”
